Will this certification pay for itself?
We count the fees, the prep course, and your study hours at what your time is worth, then divide by the monthly pay lift the surveys report.
How break-even is calculated
Cost is the issuing body's exam and membership fees plus your prep course plus your study hours valued at the hourly figure you enter. The pay lift is the credential's own survey figure applied to your current salary, divided by twelve to give a monthly gain; break-even is cost divided by that monthly gain. Surveys report correlation, not cause: people who pursue certifications also tend to change jobs, which drives much of the lift, so treat the result as a ceiling on how fast the credential pays back. Each certification page shows the fee schedule and the pass rate behind these inputs.
